Each year we celebrate the generosity of our donors and the blessings of Kentucky Methodist Children's Home by holding this on-campus event. This event is held by the Friends of the Children Board to raise funds for the residents. Volunteers In Mission seeks to achieve the Great Commission through providing short-term mission opportunities for everyday Christians to reach others with God’s love. The 12th annual Heroes, Saints and Legends Awards Banquet honors Kentuckians whose lives continue to enrich our church and their communities. This year's honorees are James E. "Jim" Criswell, J. Howard Olds, Dee Reynolds, and the late Donald Herren.
Tickets are $50 per person. Proceeds from the banquet support the ministry of Wesley Village Senior Living Community of Wilmore, KY.

In the session we will analyze gospel passages where Jesus speaks as a teacher of "wisdom;" that is, one who teaches people how to find true happiness and fulfillment in life. The event is for October 12th to encourage people to get out and get moving to help combat Kentucky’s poor reputation for obesity and obesity-related diseases, such as
