Yo Winter Blitz

Hope this note finds you doing well and getting excited about being with us this weekend for Winter Blitz 2010. At this time we have over 2300 pre-registered! That is about what we had for the full weekend last year! It is going to be an awesome time together and I know you will want to join me in prayer for all that is to happen…. for the participants, for travel safety, for our speakers and leaders, and for a mighty movement of God in our midst!

We have had several phone calls asking about cancelation and/or refunds. Not to sound uncaring or concerned, but we have about $60k wrapped up in non-refundable contracts, and there is no way to reschedule – so the show will go on! The state fairgrounds are right on the main interstate and we feel pretty confident about Louisville road readiness, so be safe getting there – delay till Saturday morning if you need – but we hope the weather will not stop you from attending a great weekend we have planned!

We sent out the parking passes last Saturday and some have said they have already got them in the mail on Monday. If you ordered parking passes they are on the way to the address you registered with.
Remember that you get your wrist bands and register in the exhibit hall of the west wing at the fairgrounds. Registration opens at 6:30 Friday night and the program officially begins at 8:00 pm with Matt having some fun on the stage at 7:30 pm.
As you come into register, we will have an area where we want to take your group picture as you come in… stop by our Winter Blitz Group Photo Booth!
Remember to be patient with all hotel staff and volunteers. Everybody is working their hardest to have a great time for all!

Winter Blitz is an annual event produced and promoted by our Ministry with Young People Network for the Kentucky Conference of the United Methodist Church. We meet at the Kentucky Fair & Expo Center in Louisville KY. This year's event is January 29-31,2010!
