United Methodist Women Online Community
Using the Online Community is a great way to get connected to UMW. There are three ways to join.
- If you are new to the organization of United Methodist Women, you may become a member through the Online Community. Your membership records will be maintained by the Women’s Division. You will receive membership and program information directly from the Women’s Division. You may give financial directly to Women’s Division through the online giving system.
- If you are a supporter of United Methodist Women, you may join the Online Community without being a member of the organization. You have a web-based relationship to the organization, not a membership in the organization of United Methodist Women. You do not need to be a United Methodist or a woman to join. You may give financial gifts directly to Women’s Division through the online giving system.
- If you are already a member of a local or district united of United Methodist Women, you may enhance your existing membership through the online community. Your membership in the United Methodist Women continues to be maintained in your local or district unit. You will have an “enhanced” membership that will allow frequent conservation with Women’s Division staff and direct communication with members of the Online Community. Your voting privileges and participation in nomination and election processes remain through local, district and conference organizations. You are encouraged to use traditional structures of Mission Giving.
We have pledged as Kentucky United Methodist Women to stay connected. The Online Community gives us a wonderful resource to go beyond our local, district and conference boundaries. GET CONNECTED TODAY. Your membership counts.
