A HEARTFELT THANKS

Here we are ending another year in the life of the Kentucky Conference United Methodist Women.  When the reports were given at our 12^th Annual Mission Conference Celebration, I gave thanks for each UMW unit.  Lives have been touched both here at home and around the world.

The year ahead will bring more needs and challenges for women and children.  Programs have been planned, projects are ready and prayers are being spoken.  All three are needed especially in the times we live.  I know the UMW will rise to the occasion.

            I would be remiss if I didn’t express my heartfelt love and thank you to our outgoing President, Carol Ackley.  She has been such a positive part of my life and the life of the UMW.  She is a Christian woman that we can be proud to call a United Methodist Woman.

            Thank you to every United Methodist Woman in Kentucky.  Let us continue to leap forward in 2009 for the good of the world in God’s name.
