The Justice Team is taking bold steps to align its purpose around The United Methodist Church's mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world and to focus its efforts to make a difference in three primary areas, namely, Refugee and Immigration, Creation Care and our Social Principles. While other areas of concentration may be added in the future, currently, it is agreed that these three areas will properly address the Four Areas of Focus of The United Methodist Church. Thus, this team continues to plan and implement vital initiatives in support of our disenfranchised brothers and sisters all over the world; connect our Christian faith with care for God's creation and teach or explore in our local congregations, one of the defining marks of United Methodism - our Social Principles.
